COSPLAY HELP NEEDED!!!!

Howdy all. I am working on a cosplay for the upcoming PAX east convention, and I am doing it for this Hatsune Miku costume!
My problem however is that I am stuck on what to do for the feet-paws (circled in blue below). They seem simple enough but I don't really know how I'm going to do them.
One idea I had is to maybe shape them out of foam like a fursuit foot, but I'm afraid it might get too complicated and time consuming. Another idea is to cover boots in fur or just wear black boots, but I think just boots would look weird and I cant really find anything that I think would work. I also don't want to be clomping around in boots all day. An Idea I just had while writing this that I'm liking is to find a pair of black slippers or paw slippers or something like that, because looking at her footwear closer that's kind of what those are. They look like felt slip-ons or something.
Well at any rate that's about where I'm at with this. If any of yall do cosplay stuff or would be able to help with this, any and all help/guidance would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!
