hii! you might know me as ryoki_PH on youtube, i post rtvs clips and have done some rtvs (just wayneradiotv and a scorpy one) edits! im pretty proud of them, so i have my youtube channel linked in the profile if youre interested. ive been an rtvs watcher for... i actually dont know how long exactly, but pretty certain sometime during mid-2021. i had watched a small bit of hlvrai and then got really into Lokos' wayneradiotv highlights. its honestly been crazy seeing the fan-highlights aspect of this community get much bigger over time, makes me very happy (❁´◡`❁)
other than that, my main interests are in manga and japanese stuff. im learning japanese myself, and my dream is to be a mangaka one day. i also burn dvds myself as a hobby and like 80s, 90s, and 2000s games, anime, and media in general. i would appreciate any japanese movie recommendations! i also have a PS2 and it is my favourite thing in the world.
also i looove vocaloid. I have playlists on both my youtube channel and Nico Nico Douga account of obscure songs with very few views. have a look if youre into that sort of thang.
I by chance had heard of this forum on tumblr and i already loved forums, i had already made one with basically anyone online i knew (mainly tumblr mutuals) (feel free to join that forum if you want! jus contact me), and im excited to be here. and especially with tumblr going even further down the toilet recently ive been trying to fully get out of the general social media-scape more and get back to proper more focused internet interaction. thus, this. anyway, hi.

Yo wellcome! So awesome seeing people who make youtube eddits of RTVS on here.
I am also learning japanese (gotta put annother lenguage to my hoard), you could say we could be weeb buddies on here, i really enjoy 00's animes though i haven't experienced 80's or 90's anime (exept yu yu hakusho and saint seya).

I was looking at the list of groups and there doesn't seem to be a weeb/jpn media focused group, although i think enough of the people here like japanese media casually that it might be redundant. and if you want some recommendations for 80s and 90s stuff, for 80s Urusei Yatsura is a classic and Stop!! Hibari-kun! is an exciting example of transfem representation in the 80s! and for the 90s the obvious is Neon Genesis Evangelion, but Serial Experiments Lain, Tenchi Muyo! and Turn-A Gundam (you dont need to watch other gundam shows to enjoy it!) are also good. theres also lots of really unique OVAs during any of these times, this video essay is a good introduction for getting into those. The Bizarre Rabbit Hole of Direct to VHS Anime. hope you dont mind the recommendations, lol

Also the pictures and gifs in my signature are from: ssss dinazenon opening, resha sentai toQger transformation sequence, and a screen shot of kamen rider fourze probably from the first episode; we could discuss more about this kinda stuff either in annother thread in the forums or in discord, we do have an official un official discord server where a hand full of users hang out and probably play an game once in a while. |

YOOO welcome to the forum! i just glanced at ur channel and immediately realized ive used a bunch of your clips for one of my videos. many thanks to your contributions to the fandom
hard agree on this being a good excuse to break free from the other hellsites, I wish I used tumblr/twitter less but its definitely been a positive for me to meet ppl on here versus there. I love seeing the forum grow with more great peoples who all like the same thing (whatever THAT is. no clue what we're all here for. who the heck is RTVS?)
