hey everyone, it has just come to my attention that apparently when a group doesn't have a leader, the join petitions default to getting deeply buried within the admin panel and we have to search to find them. (sorry to those who have been waiting to join for so long btw. i assumed i would get a notification or something. i did not.)

and while i could go checking deep within the admin panel every day to ensure i don't miss any join petitions, my understanding is that group leaders actually get notified when there is a join petition, (at least i hope they do.) so it will probably be better if someone takes that role.

responsibilities of group leader include:

- letting people in

that's it.
