I'm starting to go down the rabbithole of using fabric and thread in my sculpture making and i'm really starting to realize how like, relaxing and satisfying the act of sewing is. like, wow! I was just using cheap sewing kit thread and have now just spent $50 dollars on various sewing supplies because I am intrigued....
here is a picture of my current project. it looks like the inside of my brain right now but I am having so much fun. I already loved creating sculptures out of tinfoil, but that felt like.. not finished somehow? and it just dawned on me that I can put armature wire inside my tinfoil sculptures... like, wow, I am having a blast.
TLDR: post fabric/textile projects in this thread! I wanna see!

These are so cool! I used to do a little needle felting, but I didn't get super far with it.
Not that long ago, I made my first plushie and pattern!
I want to remake the pattern a bit, and make him much larger next time.

Wicked cool. Whats the process for making a patch like this? step 1! find a fabric you like. step 2! find a reference image. step 3! make a sketch of your thing while referring to said image. step 4! paint over the sketch with white if it's a darker fabric (which i didn't need to do here, but did anyways until i realized i didn't and stopped). step 5! paint with red or whatever colour at least 2 times if you don't want it to be white. step 6! referring to the image again, add details and outlines with a pen. step 7! sew it onto something babyyy. or use safety pins steps 3, 4, and 6 are pretty optional
