so basically i had this idea years ago for like a farming sim but youre in purgatory. i think gameplay wise it would be similar to the new fantasy life thats coming out on switch (a basic gameplay loop of getting a bunch of ingredients and such through a combat profession and getting tools, potions/food and armor through a crafting class. in fantasy life they are jobs. it is also like this in this game. it plays like a single player mmo (except good) ) except like. the get rich aspects of animal crossing and stardew, yknow? in my brain id also want the npcs to be more in depth than in farming or life sims, where if youre friends with one of them but youre friends with someone they hate theyll like you less n they can actually hate you instead of just defaulting to 0 hearts or whatever.

visually itd look a lot like magicians quest mysterious times but like. the overworld 3d and characters 2d like recettear.

pictured is the mayor, whose the ghost. candy, a witch, you can work for her and the minigame is like cooking mama but potions. her dog is a cauldron that carries her broom stick. i think a gameplay aspect will be running a store and every npc has a pet they send off on errands and you can scam them. unnamed
