there is one cat that holds a very special place in my heart because of my long and grizzled history got a little newgrounds-edgy with some of the sketches but had fun so whatever oh my goodness.. I am so amazed and astounded by these garfs <3 your style is very lovely, thank you for sharing. Here is a possible question: What is a Garfield opinion of yours? One of mine is that I kind of miss when he looked like this -------> update: I also realized you already gave one. but I would love to hear more! respect to your garfield thoughts and opinions

you are so sweet!! a million hugs and kisses to you!!! If I had to give another scathing garfield opinion it would be that there is something about his neutral standing pose arm that i just do not like. garfield kind of has two arms, his short little one, used for neutral standing and to represent his arms being bent at the elbow, and his stretchy full length ones used for action/everything else. I'm not a full hater on the little arm though! it is useful in many contexts for simplifying arm poses and it looks fine, i just reeaally dislike his little arm when he's standing neutral, it would probably look weird to make it longer though
Also! i def have a style of garfield designs that i prefer, i used to know the era but i forgot. in the example images below, the left one is closer to the current garfield design conventions, which has a lot of aspects that i think are kinda gross. I prefer almost every aspect of the right design, the thickness of the arms, the less puffy feet, the shape of the head and the position of the body!!
also i loooove garfield before he went anthro, like that is a visceral ass cat, really fun
